It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Inspired By.... The HOLIDAY SEASON!!

***(Please note: As I am blogging, YES, I am listening to Christmas music... I am already in the spirit!)

As I was driving to school on this terrific Tuesday, my life, for the year of 2010, became complete.... I heard the VERY FIRST Christmas song of the season, on the radio.  Oh joy!  My favorite time of the year is coming about-- The Holidays!  Along with the outstanding food, giving thanks for all in our lives, joyful music, Christmas trees, lights, busy shopping days, and cozy warm nights-- great family time will be experienced!  I come to find as the year gets closer to ending, my crafty side always peaks... Possibly because the winter holiday atmosphere makes me incredibely happy! As I anticipate the 2010 Holiday Season, I must share some of my favorite things:

Music: It is critical to have the BEST Holiday music during this wonderful season!  At the top of MY list--

Bing Crosby of course!

Following close behind, but can't quite catch up to my number one man--

James Taylor & Frank Sinatra!

It is of the most importance that these 3 classic artists make it to the very top of your Christmas playlists, as well!  Also, for you country fans, Martina McBride has spectacular Holiday albums as well!

To warm your soul:: Starbucks Hazelnut Hot Chocolate.  Try it; don't blame me for the addiction you will obtain.... Don't say I didn't warn you!  I'm in search of the PERFECT homemade Hazelnut Hot Chocolate recipe.  I think the search is over!  It will be tested this weekend and hopefully ranked with success!!  If perhaps the recipe becomes a complete failure, I can always rely on my ever so delightful Starbucks!

To warm your spirit during frigid days:: Oversized "grandma" sweaters... and yes, I do call them "grandma sweaters."  Mixed with knee-high boots & the perfect scarf, you can never go wrong on a cold winter day!  I cannot get enough!  Some of my favorites:

To warm your heart:: White Christmas... possibly one of the greatest movies ever produced.  It must be watched at least 3 times over Christmas week!

To warm your soul:: For the creative minds out there... Homemade wreaths and stockings:

Just a few of my favorite things!  As the Holiday season begins, let us be thankful for family, friends, and the love we share.  As we continue on with our lives, never forget the true meaning behind this time of year!

Let the happiness begin! :)

Hold Us Together

My Life Inspired By.... a song.

There are very few songs that cause me to hit the "repeat button" time after time. However certain bits and pieces of some special songs hit a chord in my heart and either make me bust out in a killer dance move, or throw back my head in worship.  I want to thank Matt Maher for the inspiration he brings me in this song. "Hold us Together" hits me hard, and gets me thinking about the different people in the world around me. To end this week and bring a little joy right into the weekend, here you go:  for your inspiration and listening pleasure:

by: Matt Maher

It don't have a job

Don't pay your bills

Won't buy you a home

In Beverly Hills

Won't fix your life

in 5 easy steps

It ain't the law of the land

 or the government

But as soon you needed.

Love, will, hold us together

Make us a shelter

to weather the storm

And I'll, be, my brothers keeper

So the whole world will know

That we're not alone

It's waiting for you

Knockin' at your door!

Every moment of truth

When your heart hits the floor

When you're on your knees then...

Love, will, hold us together

Make us a shelter

to weather the storm

And I'll, be, my brothers keeper

So the whole world will know

That we're not alone

This is the first, day of the rest of your life

This is the first, day of the rest of your life

'Cause even in the dark you can still see the light

It's gonna be alright, s'gonna be alright

Love, will, hold us together

Make us a shelter

to weather the storm

And I'll, be, my brothers keeper

So the whole world will know

That we're not alone.

l.o.v.e.... It's that simple.

love

My Life Inspired By.... love.

Now is the time to introduce you to a person who inspires me everyday, although he may not realize it.  Hayes Hall.  He has a sparkle in his eye, and a life full of laughter.  Hayes has shown me what it truly means to live.  Every morning at 9:30 I recieve an inspiring text message from this amazing person.  He taught me to believe in myself... and in karma. He picks me up when I am down.  He shows me love and a passion for life, which is all my eyes really need to see.

Although the future is unknown, I know he will do whatever it takes to keep love alive.  He took the blindness out of my weary soul. and brought me somewhere beautiful.  For this, Hayes Weston Hall, I thank you.  Thank you for your love, your laughter, your faith, your passion, your smile, your tears, and most importantly, your heart.

Thank you, Hayes.

Inspiration

My name is Morgan Ann Stover.... and my life is inspired.
Inspired by the people I meet, the places I go, the things I see, and the world all around me.  I find inspiration in big things, small things, near things, and far things.  Inspiration in tall people, short people, colorful people, and plain people. In music, nature, fashion, sunshine, and color.  I find inspiration in just about everything I see.  Now there is a place where all these inspiring things come together in one spot... My Life Inspired By....

My Life Inspired By.... a quote:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.

My deepest fear is not that I am unsuitable to what I dream.... that I am too much for the little expected.... The greatness I could possibly achieve is what frightens me the most.  I first heard this quote on the movie Coach Carter. I would stop and rewind the scene over & over, to hear the lost boy speak these words; words that prove relevant to my life at this very moment.  My life is inspired by 30 words.  It only took 30 words for me to stop & think.... what will it take for you?
