It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Inspired By.... The HOLIDAY SEASON!!

***(Please note: As I am blogging, YES, I am listening to Christmas music... I am already in the spirit!)

As I was driving to school on this terrific Tuesday, my life, for the year of 2010, became complete.... I heard the VERY FIRST Christmas song of the season, on the radio.  Oh joy!  My favorite time of the year is coming about-- The Holidays!  Along with the outstanding food, giving thanks for all in our lives, joyful music, Christmas trees, lights, busy shopping days, and cozy warm nights-- great family time will be experienced!  I come to find as the year gets closer to ending, my crafty side always peaks... Possibly because the winter holiday atmosphere makes me incredibely happy! As I anticipate the 2010 Holiday Season, I must share some of my favorite things:

Music: It is critical to have the BEST Holiday music during this wonderful season!  At the top of MY list--

Bing Crosby of course!

Following close behind, but can't quite catch up to my number one man--

James Taylor & Frank Sinatra!

It is of the most importance that these 3 classic artists make it to the very top of your Christmas playlists, as well!  Also, for you country fans, Martina McBride has spectacular Holiday albums as well!

To warm your soul:: Starbucks Hazelnut Hot Chocolate.  Try it; don't blame me for the addiction you will obtain.... Don't say I didn't warn you!  I'm in search of the PERFECT homemade Hazelnut Hot Chocolate recipe.  I think the search is over!  It will be tested this weekend and hopefully ranked with success!!  If perhaps the recipe becomes a complete failure, I can always rely on my ever so delightful Starbucks!

To warm your spirit during frigid days:: Oversized "grandma" sweaters... and yes, I do call them "grandma sweaters."  Mixed with knee-high boots & the perfect scarf, you can never go wrong on a cold winter day!  I cannot get enough!  Some of my favorites:

To warm your heart:: White Christmas... possibly one of the greatest movies ever produced.  It must be watched at least 3 times over Christmas week!

To warm your soul:: For the creative minds out there... Homemade wreaths and stockings:

Just a few of my favorite things!  As the Holiday season begins, let us be thankful for family, friends, and the love we share.  As we continue on with our lives, never forget the true meaning behind this time of year!

Let the happiness begin! :)
